Twitter has made its mobile apps safer and more secure for users, and more usable. It has added a new feature that allows users more control over their Twitter account. Here are some new features that can improve the experience of the smartphone.
Mute offensive posts and people
This new feature allows users to disable any word, phrase, username, or hashtag from their timeline for a specific time period (between 24 hours to 30 days) or forever. The idea behind this feature is to keep your chat clean and harassment free by mute posts and notices that might be offensive.
Adds another layer of security
Twitter already has two-factor authentication, but now user can use third party two-factor authentication which is Google Authenticator, this will adds more layer of security if there is someone who knows your username and password trying to login using your account.
More room for text
Twitter has made an updates for the reply section. The username will not be counted as character because you are no longer seeing @username in the reply section which is now located above the reply box. So you have more room to type instead of wasting some character for the username.

Critique:
Those new features that has been made by Twitter is absolutely effective for user. There are many people that doing spam, trolling, and other. By muting that person, you can use the social media more comfy. And then the security of Twitter has been upgraded which will make the hacker difficult to login using your username and password. Also the last is a great feature in twitter which makes the users have more space to express themselves.
